About Us
Student Employment is a division of Career Services located in room 125 McLemore Hall. The primary goals of our department are to acquaint students with a variety of employment opportunities, and to assist employers in their search for qualified students to fill their positions.
Work Study?
Check your SOAR account or with Financial Aid to see if you're eligible and have been awarded Federal Work Study.
- Fill out required tax paperwork at Student Employment.
- You MUST have a picture ID and Social Security card or birth certificate with you. To see a complete list of all acceptable documents go to the I-9 Form and refer to page 5.
- You MUST have documentation with you from your bank that shows your routing and account numbers.
- Receive your Work Study Assignment Sheet from Student Employment.
- Search on Eagle Employment, Career Services' online database: Select 'On-Campus (Wage)' and 'On-Campus (Work Study)' jobs
- Apply for the job (each listing will tell you how).
- You MUST take Work Study Assignment Sheet with you to your interview.
- When hired, give your employer your Work Study Assignment Sheet.
No Work Study?
- Search for jobs on Eagle Employment, Career Services online database, (select ‘On-Campus (Wage)’ and 'Part-time/Off Campus' jobs)
- Apply for the job (each listing will tell you how)
- When hired fill out tax paperwork with your new department or Student Employment
- You MUSThave a picture ID and social security card or birth certificate with you. To see a complete list of all acceptable documents go to the I-9 Form and refer to page 5.
- You MUST have something from your bank that shows routing and account number with you
