Classes for the fall semester start Wednesday, Aug. 18, but there's plenty to do before then.

Aug. 13-14: Freshman Move-In Day is actually two days of getting settled into a residence hall, your new campus home.

Aug. 14-19: After that, Golden Eagle Welcome Week kicks off with opportunities to learn more about campus and plenty of activities to keep you entertained. GEWW is a rite of passage each fall for new students at The University of Southern Mississippi.

Freshman Move-In Day

Friday, Aug. 13, 8 a.m.-noon: Priority Move-In for Honors College, Luckyday Scholars, Leadership Scholars and *Century Park residents

Saturday, Aug. 14: All other freshmen; Upperclassmen in Century Park, Building 4

*Century Park residents in Buildings 1 & 3 will move in from 8-10 a.m. Residents in Building 2 will move in from 10 a.m.-noon.

Volunteers will be on hand to assist with unloading. Please tag all items with your name and room number to avoid confusion and help ensure that items are taken to the appropriate room.
