Greetings and welcome to the Student Support Services web site.

This site has been designed to provide you with all the information you may need to become familiar with Student Support Services. We hope it will answer most of your questions about who we are and what we do.

The mission of Student Support Services is to assist students to remain in school, successfully complete a course of study, and graduate. SSS strives to fulfill its mission of retention and graduation by providing a variety services to eligible students. As a unit within the Division of Student Affairs, SSS serves as an advocate for students through creative problem-solving, accessibility, accountability, and an opportunity to connect to the university community.

The Student Support Services Program at Southern Miss stands poised to serve you with the highest level of interest, commitment, and support. SSS takes pride in the professionalism and caring attitudes of the entire staff.
