Application deadlines

• May 15 for fall/academic year
• September 15 for spring applicants

Application procedure

1. Carefully read all of the below information before beginning the application process on Horizons! If you register under the wrong section, you will need to withdraw your application and start over. 
2. Visit the Horizons Web site, where you will complete your application for USM on-line. You must first register and then log in and apply.
3. Register by clicking on the "Visiting International Exchange Student Registration". Then, login and select a program. Scroll down to "Visiting International Exchange Program Application" and click Apply. Go through steps 1-13.
4. Download and print the Letter of Good Standing to give to your home institution’s study abroad advisor to fill out and return directly to USM. Please ask him/her to scan and email it to Céline Ingram.
5. Request that your home institution’s study abroad advisor send a copy of your official transcript via email to Céline Ingram.
6. All necessary forms that need to be filled out and returned are located under the "forms" section.
