Spend a semester studying in the radiant heart of Italy. On Semester in Perugia, you will be enrolled at the Umbra Institute, which has set itself apart with distinctive programs that allow you to immerse yourself in Italian culture and learn both in and beyond the classroom.
Life in an Italian college town – You will study in Italy’s biggest college town, a city of approximately 150,000 people that teems with some of the country’s finest cafés, restaurants, and nightlife.
A custom study abroad experience – You’ll design the study abroad program that best suits your academic needs with one of our four study options available. And if that’s not enough for you, there is also an Honors Program!
Student activities and excursions – During your time abroad, you will have the option of participating in social events, excursions, and cultural activities. We can also help you arrange a language-exchange program with a local Italian student.

Coursework/Classes
Courses include art history, cultural studies, food science, history, Italian studies, international business, literature, marketing, political science, studio art, and culinary arts.

How to Apply
Students must first apply to Southern Miss International Programs through the "Apply Now" button and submit Southern Miss program fee of $500. Once application is processed students will receive an email with the link to apply through CIS Abroad for their semester in Perugia.
