All Southern Miss international exchange programs offer USM students the opportunity to spend a semester or academic year at a designated partner university abroad and earn USM credit. Students enroll for the equivalent of 12-18 semester hours while abroad.
Students pay in-state USM tuition plus a $250 non-refundable program fee. Additionally, students will have to pay for HTH insurance (fee depends on the amount of time abroad). Students do not pay tuition at the host university. Financial aid for qualified students (including applicable scholarships, grants and loans) may be applied toward the program cost.
Pre-departure and post-program assistance is provided by the Southern Miss International Programs office and by program directors at each partner university campus.
