International Exchange Program
The town of Stoke-on-Trent is the historic center of the British pottery industry. This bustling community is less than an hour's drive from Manchester and Birmingham and two hours' drive to London. The nearby Lake District, which played summer host to many writers and artists of the Romantic era, makes a great weekend getaway spot, as does Stratford-upon-Avon, where you may view a Shakespearean play performed in the author's birthplace.
