Golden Eagle Welcome Week
The Best Week You’ll Ever Have On Campus!
August 18-21, 2012
Golden Eagle Welcome Week (GEWW) is designed specifically for you, our new Golden Eagles. It is a week of meeting new friends, learning important information and enjoying exciting entertainment.
Students are divided into teams and guided throughout the week by student orientation leaders. You'll get all of your questions answered and have a lot of fun in the process. Events range from socials to traditional events such as Painting the Eagle Walk.
This is how we welcome you to Southern Miss in a big way. These are the days you'll be talking about long after you graduate. We want you to feel at home here, and Golden Eagle Welcome Week is a great way to start.
