Incoming freshmen must attend the events marked "required" on this agenda.  A full agenda of activities will be given to you at GEWW Check-in.

Friday, August 16

Freshman Move-In Day for the following:

  • Century Park Buildings 1 and 3 (8-10 a.m.)
  • Century Park Buildings 2 and 4 (10 a.m.-noon)
  • Wilber Hall floors 5-8 (8 a.m.-noon)

GEWW Check-in (required)
You will check in for GEWW after you have checked into your residence hall and placed your belongings in your room.  You should check in at one of the following locations:

  • Century Park residents | Check in at the Century Park courtyard
  • Wilber Hall residents | Check in at the Freshman Quad courtyard
  • Commuter freshmen | Check in at the Freshman Quad courtyard

There are no other GEWW activities on Friday, August 16.  Use this free time to get your room set up, get any last-minute necessities, and to explore your new home!

Saturday, August 17

Freshman Move-In Day for the following from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.:

  • Jones, Roberts, Pulley, Bolton, and Hickman Halls
  • Wilber Hall floors 1-4

GEWW Check-in (required)
You will check in for GEWW after you have checked into your residence hall and placed your belongings in your room.  You should check in at one of the following locations:

  • Triad and Freshman Quad residents | Check in at the Freshman Quad courtyard
  • Commuter freshmen | Check in at the Freshman Quad courtyard

Mandatory floor meeting with your Resident Assistant (RA) (required)
As posted on your floor

There are no other GEWW activities on Saturday, August 17.  Use this free time to get your room set up, get any last-minute necessities, and to explore your new home!

Sunday, August 18

7:30-9:30 p.m. | Peter Boie, Magician | Bennett Auditorium

Monday, August 19

1-1:45 p.m. | GEWW small group meetings (required)

Wednesday, August 21

It's the first day of fall classes!  If you need help with anything, find someone wearing an "Ask Me" t-shirt or sticker, or you can stop by an "Ask Me" tent location at one of these places: the Cenury Park courtyard, the Freshman Quad courtyard, Shoemaker Square, or the plaza area behind Cook Library.  The "Ask Me" tents will be set up starting Wednesday, August 21 through Friday, August 23.
