How to Purchase a Plate:
The official Southern Miss plate is only available to Mississippi residents and can be purchased from your county Tax Collector's office for $50 (in addition to your annual motor vehicle registration fee).
Replacing Your Current Southern Miss Plate:
For current Southern Miss license plate owners the process is simple! At the time of your annual renewal, just tell your local county license office that you want to continue to Ride with Pride, and you will automatically receive the new and improved version.
Tag renewal is now available online for the following Mississippi counties: Alcorn, Attala, Desoto, Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Lafayette, Lauderdale, Lee, Madison, Pearl River, Rankin and Warren.
