The mission of the Business Technology Education (BTE) Undergraduate Program is to prepare students to teach in secondary and/or postsecondary education programs that equip individuals with knowledge, skills, attitudes, and work habits essential for initial employment in the technological environment of today's business world and/or success in the college environment. Through the BTE program, students will obtain a broad general education, develop a conceptual understanding of business and technology and their applications to society, and demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of the best professional education practices.
