Bachelor of Fine Arts - Dance Education

This degree prepares the student to teach dance in grades K-12 and requires additional coursework in teaching methodology and pedagogy. In addition to dance area courses, students engage in theoretical and practical experiences of teaching dance.

In the final semester of study, dance education majors student teach in the community. Students also are offered teaching experiences through the Community Arts School and in after-school programs.
