Who participates?
Any incoming freshman or transfer student. Slightly more females than males attend.

How many people will be there?
You will have no more than 15 people in your group; however there may be as many as 40 participants total.

How much does TEA cost?
$250

Can I earn academic credit?
You can earn up to 3 hourse of academic credit. You must enroll in HPR 492 and successfully complete all components of the program.

What are the credits good for?
These 3 credits can be counted as general elective credits good towards graduation.

What if I'm not an "outdoor" person?
We encourage and welcome participants of ALL ability levels. The activities for TEA have been selected for their ability to challenge the novice and expert alike.

When do I need to arrive on campus?
You will need to be on campus at the HPR building at noon on Thursday August 14th. Click here for a campus map marking the HPR building.

Can I move into my dorm room prior to the trip?
Unfortunately we are not able to allow students to move into their dorm rooms early.

Do I need any special equipment?
Apart from the list provided, you will not need to bring any additional or special equipment. Upon arriving on campus, all equipment and expenses will be covered by TEA.
