Requirements
Students majoring in anthropology must complete all general education requirements of the College of Arts and Letters, and have a minor in another discipline.
The anthropology major itself requires 33 hours in anthropology, including:
- ANT 221: Cultural and Linguistic Anthropology: 3 hours
- ANT 231: Archaeology and Physical Anthropology: 3 hours
- ANT 301: History of Anthropology: 3 hours
- ANT 401: Senior Seminar in Anthropology: 3 hours
- Anthropology Electives: 21 hours
The student's adviser will discuss the choice of courses that best complements the student's interests and career goals.
