  • Students will complete courses in cultural anthropology, physical anthropology, archaeology and anthropological linguistics.
  • The Bachelor of Arts in history (B.A.) degree offers excellent training in critical reading and the analysis of evidence, the ability to form complex arguments and convey them in clear and persuasive prose, and an elaborate understanding of people, societies and historic change
  • The history B.A. with licensure in social studies 7-12 is a nationally recognized program with accreditation from the National Council for the Social Studies that offers excellent training in critical reading and the analysis of evidence, the ability to form complex arguments and convey them in clear and persuasive prose, and an elaborate understanding of people, societies and historic change.
  • The library and information science degree can be used to obtain a variety of paraprofessional positions in libraries and other information environments, as well as to become certified as a school library media specialist.
