About this Bachelor's Degree
The construction engineering technology Bachelor of Science degree program is committed to producing graduates who possess the necessary skills to enter the architecture/engineering/construction industry fully capable of performing entry-level tasks at the office and in the field.
The graduates’ critical thinking, discipline and work ethic will be such that a short period of training and work experience will allow them to move into managerial positions.

Learning Outcomes/Objectives
- BCT students will perform as an effective team member through participation, coordination, and an understanding of the roles different personalities play on a team.
- BCT students will be able to link classroom materials with activities performed by AEC professionals in the field.
- BCT students will have the essential and integrated abilities to successfully perform entry-level tasks.
- BCT students will prepare and present professional oral communications appropriate for the delivery of technical content.
- BCT students will prepare and present professional written communications appropriate for the delivery of technical content.
