To start your project with University Communications, submit a Project Request Form. After you submit the form, our coordinator of graphic design will contact you to schedule a creative meeting or gather additional information about your project. During the creative meeting, our team will consult with you on design, content, scheduling and other necessary information to complete your project.
Policies and Processes
After your creative meeting, the next step is to send text for your project to our writer/editor for review before any design work is started. Text must be approved before the design phase begins.
For quality control purposes, University Communications maintains control of native design files.
Approval of Printing, Advertising and Promotional Items
Communications materials representing the university should be approved through University Communications and will be reviewed according to the guidelines presented in both the Graphic Standards and Style Guide.
Approval from University Communications is required by Procurement Services in order to process payment for any printed materials, advertising or promotional items being paid for with university funds. If your communications materials require approval, email us at email@example.com.
Contact the Office of University Communications for all of your university printing needs. We provide competitive pricing and quality printing by utilizing services from a group of qualified print vendors. Requesting quotes from vendors is part of our process; therefore, once the specifications and quantities for your project are confirmed, the project will be sent out on bid, and you will receive quotes in approximately three (3) business days.
