A pep rally was held to celebrate the opening of the USM basketball season. Seymore was there, as well as the Pride of Southern Miss, the Dixie Darlings, and the Southern Misses. Even the Lady Eagles themselves came out to introduce themselves, meet the fans, and sign autographs. With live music and a free throw contest, it was a great way to kick off the season for USM basketball fans.
