My research centers around the visual culture of twentieth century domestic tourism, and my first book is forthcoming from the University of Arizona Press this fall. Tentatively titled Mapping Wonderlands: Illustrated Cartography in Arizona, 1912-1962, it explores how graphic images tell stories (real and imagined) about tourist places in Arizona.
