John House teaches primarily in the areas of graphic design and photography.
He received a B.F.A. from Auburn University and an M.F.A. in communication design from the University of Tennessee. He has combined teaching at the senior and junior college levels with professional practice throughout his career, having taught in four states.
Professional practice includes work with design studios, the corporate art department, package design and advertising agency experience. His involvement extended to all aspects of creative, from concept and execution to account management, product launches and new business development. Specific client experience includes pharmaceutical, medical, soft drink, snack food, recreation and other industries.
Professor House serves as Professor of Graphic Design and currently serves as program coordinator of the Graphic Design emphasis area. Professor House team teaches the senior capstone course with the Graphic Design faculty.
