| Dr. Lisa K. Kemp is a Research Scientist at the University of Southern Mississippi and the Mississippi Polymer Institute. In both of these roles, she seeks to develop and commercialize new polymer-based products. She worked for 3 years in the coatings industry at McWhorter Technologies, Inc. and Eastman Chemical Co. where she helped develop and commercialize three new coatings technologies. Lisa is a cofounder of Ablitech Inc., a pre-revenue biotechnology company. At Ablitech, Lisa served as CSO and helped garner $2.5 million in funding to develop polymer delivery systems for RNA and DNA sequences. Lisa holds a PhD in Polymer Science and Engineering with a Technology Commercialization focus from the University of Southern Mississippi. | |||
