Kip Sharp is a Applications Group Supervisor at Sasol North America. He leads the Applications Group in Research and Development which encompasses a range of industrial applications including Oil and Gas, Lubricants, and PICA (Paint, Inks, Coatings, and Adhesives). Kip also serves as the North American PICA (Paint, Inks, Coatings, and Adhesives) Technical Leader. His research interests include utilization of surfactants for industrial applications, the development of specialty alcohols, and alcohol derivatization chemistry. He received his B.S. from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1998 and his Ph.D. from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2004 in Polymer Science and Engineering.  |
