Dr. Richard S. Valpey III is currently Director, Product Development and Innovation at Troy Corporation, Florham Park NJ. He earned his B.S. cum laude in Chemistry at Wheaton College, Wheaton Illinois and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Organic Chemistry at The University of |

Rochester, NY. Prior to joining Troy Corporation, he held positions at The Ohio State University, The United States Air Force Materials Research Command, Sherwin-Williams, and SC Johnson. Dr. Valpey has published 12 articles, an e-book titled "Hansen Solubility Parameters in Practice," and holds 21 US patents.
