    prior to beginning the TMI program

    PRAXIS I

    Praxis I is a standardized assessment throughout the United States. Registration information is available at Southern Miss - 601.266.6123

    Praxis I covers three areas:

    10710 - Reading
    20720 - Writing
    10730 - Mathematics

    Once an area is passed, you need not attempt it again.

    The exam may also be completed online (more expensive,
    but quicker score report).

Fees for the exam are the obligation of the candidate.
Computerized testing may be scheduled through Southern Miss
at the Computer-Based Testing Center by calling (601) 266-6123. Educational Testing Services may be reached at 1-800-853-6773 or
online at http://www.ets.org/praxis.

Praxis II scores at the passing level for Mississippi
must be achieved prior to admission to TMI@SouthernMiss

TMI Fall Internship:
Dimensions of Learning in Content

License includes 3 years credit on "A" salary scale,
is good for 5 years, and renewable by

10 CEUs or
5 CEUs + 3 semester credits or
6 semester hours
