Glenn T. Harper

Dr. Harper's publications include German Economic Policy in Spain during the Spanish Civil War, 1936-1939 and articles in Iberian Studies and The Southern Quarterly. He has won awards from the American Philosophical Society and the Woodrow Wilson Foundation. He has served as Dean since 1983 and been President of the Mississippi Council of Colleges of Arts and Sciences.
After serving for twenty years as Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, Dr. Harper rejoined the department as a full-time faculty member in the fall of 2003. He is now Professor Emeritus at the University of Southern Mississippi.
