Student Groups Participate in Health Walk
09/27/08- Two student groups in Speech and Hearing Sciences entered the Heart Walk held on Saturday. S S H A's team was "Speaking for a Better Heart." N A F D A's team was "U S M Golden Ears." Approximately 1,000 people representing various area organizations and businesses turned out on the Southern Miss Hattiesburg campus to raise more than $80,000 for the event to help the organization fight heart disease.
