Periogoe is Lucas Recipient
2/25/09- Dr. Christina Perigoe is a recipient of The Aubrey Keith Lucas and Ella Ginn Lucas Endowment for Faculty Excellence for an innovative project to facilitate distance education opportunities for students in the new graduate program in Early Oral Intervention.
Initial plans call for linking classrooms in Hattiesburg and Jackson. In addition, the video technology will allow graduate students working with infants and young children who are deaf or hard of hearing to become reflective practitioners by reviewing videos of their teaching and creating a DVD library for future graduate students.
