Vice President-Gulf Park
Dr. Miller is the Vice President for the The University of Southern Mississippi's Gulf Park Campus.
He was formerly the Associate Director for Training and Business Development at the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4) at The University of Southern Mississippi. Dr. Miller was responsible for the coordination of training and development programs as well as assessment and validation of systems and technologies for security solutions through the NCS4 National Sports Security Laboratory.
Dr. Miller was previously the Director of the Lean Enterprise Center at The University of Southern Mississippi where he spent 12 years leading continuous improvement training and development workshops for industry and government entities. Prior to his work at the Lean Enterprise center, he spent 10 years as a project manager with Lockheed Martin at the John C. Stennis Space Center.
Dr. Miller graduated from Mississippi State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, as well as an M.B.A. and then a Ph.D. in Human Capital Development from The University of Southern Mississippi.
