Faculty ExpectationsIn selecting accounting as a major, you have chosen a major that prepares you to become a professional and expects you to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times. Similar to graduates from schools of law and medicine, accounting graduates become members of a well-recognized profession. The accounting profession maintains high standards of professional demeanor and behavior for its members, and as future accountants, you not only need to be aware of these professional attributes but also should embrace them as personal responsibilities. From a student’s standpoint, these professional attributes include:
