MSED Alumni

The program has a strong alumni base that hires and mentors program graduates. The several hundred alumni are spread around the county and the world, but are primarily in the US Southeast. Texas in particular has seen a growing alumni base. The program maintains an alumni data base and sends out a bi-weekly newsletter that includes alumni contacts.

We encourage all alumni to keep in touch with the program and be part of the Southern Miss Alumni Association. MSED program contact Dr. Chad Miller at 601.266.6666 or chad.r.miller@usm.edu. Associate Professor and Graduate Coordinator, College of Business.

“The presence of USM Master’s Degree Program Graduates in the southern states is amazing.    They are everywhere.   I even found more in Texas.    And I have not even looked much at the north and northeast. And they are in positions of major responsibility…. And the quality of those individuals on an interpersonal skills basis is equally impressive.  They are genuinely friendly, personable, and caring individuals.  One area really stands out in their backgrounds.  They are great in marketing and related skillsets.” – Quote from an Executive Search Firm that Specializes in Economic Development
