Come join us for a fun hike around Lake Thoreau to meet some of our reptile and amphibian residents! USM faculty and students will trapping and displaying reptiles and amphibians of all types.  There are over 50 species of turtles, snakes, lizards, frogs, and salamanders that live at Lake Thoreau.  Let's see how many we can find!  May 6th is also officially 'Salamander Saturday' and we will have a special salamander station with USM's own salamander scientist, Dr. Jen Lamb!  This is a family event and is open to people of all ages.  There is no admission fee for this event but donations are always gratefully accepted.
