Using oral history methods, Hattiesburg High School students are in the process of documenting and sharing the racial desegregation and resegregation of their high school.

On Monday, May 1 at 6 p.m., the students will share with the greater community their progress and future plans. A discussion will follow. Come join us at the Train Depot, 308 Newman Street; Hattiesburg. Refreshments will served.

Thanks to our collaborative partners, the Department of Educational Research and Administration, Department of History, Hattiesburg High School-Hattiesburg Public Schools and the Mississippi Humanities Council, this event is free and open to the public.
