High Def is a Co-ed Hip Hop dance crew that originally started as an All boy dance crew back in 2012 on the campus of USM, but recently became a Co-ed team Fall of 2016. High Def is a diverse dance group accepting experienced & non experienced dancers from different backgrounds. Although, our primary focus genre of dance is Hip Hop we include various other styles of dance as well. High Def performs at several events on campus and the surrounding Hattiesburg areas, and even host some of our own events. We strive to enhance the growth in Hip Hop dance through technique, freestyle/ improvisational skills, and stage presence.
