Health Coverage Options

Health Insurance Marketplace

The Health Insurance Marketplace is a site where individuals and families can shop for insurance and compare options among several qualified health plans based on monthly price, copay, deductible and out-of-pocket cost. Mississippi has a Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) that is operated through a federal online exchange, www.healthcare.gov. Individuals and families whose income falls between 100-400% of the Federal Poverty Level could qualify to shop for health insurance through the Marketplace and could possibly receive a Tax Credit/Subsidy and/or a Cost-Sharing Reduction.
