Mississippi Health Access Collaborative

Mississippi Health Access Collaborative (MHAC) provides free Navigator services to build sustainable access to health coverage for vulnerable and hard-to-reach citizens across the 24 southernmost counties in Mississippi.

These counties include Adams, Amite, Pike, Adams, Jefferson, Franklin, Lincoln, Lawrence, Walthall, Wilkinson, Forrest, Lamar, Greene, Wayne, Jeff Davis, Covington, Jones, Perry, Marion, George, Jackson, Harrison, Stone, and Pearl River.

As federally trained healthcare Navigators, we are an organization that helps consumers enroll in health coverage options. We are required to be unbiased, and our services are free to consumers. We can assist you with the following:

  • Creating a marketplace account
  • Providing unbiased decisions and education with picking a plan
  • Explaining insurance terminology (i.e. co-pay, deductible, MEC, QHP, etc.)
  • Providing enrollment assistance for Medicaid/CHIP
