Who can participate?
Any student, staff or faculty groups and organizations connected to the University
How do you get involved?
Sign up on Get Connected (volunteer.usm.edu, SSO log in with orange button). Sign up for the Adopt-a-Level Program under Opportunities. When you sign up, be sure to list the name of the organization adopting the spot in the space for additional comments.
What is required?
- Provide manpower to pick up litter on a garage level or ramp section
- Agree to pick up litter at least once a month for the school year
- Agree to abide by all University program safety rules and guidelines
- Report hours in Get Connected (volunteer.usm.edu)

What supplies are available to support you?
Trash bags, gloves, and litter grabbers will be provided to you.
Before you prepare to do your clean-up each month, email sarah.dixon@usm.edu with at least 48 hours notice and we will send information on where to go to retrieve your supplies.
This program is a collaborative effort between The Institute for Disability Studies, Luckyday Scholars Program, and the Center for Community Engagement.
