What to Expect

While Campus Link AmeriCorps service activities vary from site to site, community to community, and school to school, all service members will focus their energy on tutoring and mentoring upper-elementary & middle school students.

There are three goals that Campus Link AmeriCorps strives to reach:

  • Increasing the academic proficiency in state and regular testing
  • Increasing promotion to the next grade level
  • Increase self-reported readiness for high school and beyond

Service members will also participate and recruit volunteers for National Days of Service, such as Read Across America Day, and track their impact via service reporting and program evaluation requirements, and of course, have fun!
