Scholarship CSEMS (EET related)

Computer Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Technology (CSEMS)
Scholarship Requirements Fall Semester 2003

CSEMS Scholars must meet all of the requirements listed below each semester.

Citizenship: U. S. citizenship required.

Financial Need: Must demonstrate eligibility for one or more of the following: Pell Grant, Perkins Loan, SEOG, SSIG/LEAP, Work Study, or Stafford Loan (need-based).

GPA: GPA of 2.5 or above.

Classification: Undergraduate standing at junior level or above.

Major: Must be enrolled in one of the following programs: Computer Science, Mathematics, Architectural Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology, or Software Engineering Technology.

Course Load: Must register for and complete 15 hours/semester of appropriate course work. Fall and Spring semesters.

Project Activities: Each CSEMS Scholar must register with the USM Career Services, create a resume, and have a complete active file by the deadline. In addition, Scholars must attend the Fall Career Fair in the USM Payne Center and professional development/Graduate workshops. Failure to participate and complete required activities may affect whether a recipient is continued in the scholarship program.

Financial Aid: Recipients must apply for AY 2003-2004 financial aid prior to August 2003.
