Janice Medina Selected for US/ICOMOS Internship Congratulations to adjunct faculty member Janice Medina! Medina was selected as one of the 20 to 30 preservation professionals from 70 countries to participate as a summer 2010 intern for the US National Committee of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (US/ICOMOS), and will be working on a historic site on the north coast of Falmouth, Jamaica. Interior Design Program Wins NKBA Excellence in Education Award Southern Miss Interior Design Faculty member, Michelle Rose, explains that this award was made possible due to the hard work and winning attitudes of her Fall 2008 (ID 342) Residential II students! The NKBA award is a prestigious and honorable award for the demonstration of outstanding student work and was based on the student work submitted from the Residential Design II course for the 2008-2009 academic year.
