School of Construction
The School of Construction (SoC) offers four undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree programs and a Master of Science degree program with direct application to industry:
- Architectural Engineering Technology (ACT)
- Construction Engineering Technology (BCT)
- Industrial Engineering Technology (IET)
- Interior Design (ID)
- Master of Science in Logistics, Trade & Transportation (MS LTT)
All undergraduate engineering technology programs are accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering Technology (ETAC-ABET) www.abet.org. The Construction Engineering Technology program is also accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) www.acce-hq.org, making it dually accredited.
The Interior Design program is dually accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) www.accredit-id.org, and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) nasad.arts-accredit.org/.
Mission of School
The mission of the School of Construction is to provide relevant knowledge and technology for design, construction, engineering, and management education in order to serve the professional needs of the Construction, Architecture, Interior Design and Industrial sectors. To achieve its mission, the School will provide a learning environment that fosters the development of critical thinking and ethical understanding of the knowledge and technology for the built environment and society at large.
