The Institute for Disability Studies received an Imagination Playground in a Cart from KaBoom! Dr. Pepper, and Snapple. The Imagination Playground provides an “innovate play opportunity” that encourages creativity, collaboration, problem solving, and motor development.
KaBoom foam building blocks provide the tools children need to work together to create obstacles, castles, teepees, igloos, ships, planes, forts, etc.. Children with and without disabilities plan, create, and collaborate to build structures that only a child’s imagination can create!
The KaBoom Imagination In A Cart is available at Early Connections, an inclusive PreK Center operated in conjunction with Lamar County School District. The Imagination Cart is also available at the Technology Learning Center on the USM Long Beach campus.
