Joy T. Hines, Ph.D.
Visiting Assistant Professor
Dr. Joy T. Hines earned her Ph.D. in Special Education at The University of Southern Mississippi in 2001. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in the Special Education programs, and is currently the Undergraduate Coordinator for the Bachelor's program. Her research interests include special education law, grief management in schools, classroom management, and bullying. Dr. Hines has published several articles in national refereed journals. In addition, she has conducted over 30 presentations at local, state and national education conferences.
