    Technical services and equipment are available on-site. House Sound with elegant background music (or a wide array of options for your audio needs) is available in each room. Video projection with DVD, VCR and computer connections are also available.

    Southern Miss Catering, located in the Thad Cochran Center, handles all food requests for the university (outside caterers are NOT allowed). Southern Miss' professional, culinary staff can provide specialized menus - from the simple to the sophisticated - for any business or social occasion, and can work within your budget to suggest menus that provide excellent quality and the greatest value.   • Freight Access
    Underground loading docks available with eight loading and unloading spaces. Freight elevator to reach all floors (max. capacity - 5,500 lbs, width - 5'6", height - 7'0", depth - 8'6"). Storage available on request.

  • Lighting
    Lighting in the Cochran Center and Cook Union is a combination of high pressure sodium, fluorescent and incandescent, which is easily adjusted to meet a variety of event needs.

  • Security System
    Security systems, including surveillance cameras (122 in the Cochran Center), monitor the facilities.

  • Telephone and Internet Access
    Internet service (wireless and hardwired) is available, along with telephone service on request.
