Dr. Paul Tontz

Bio

Dr. Paul Tontz is an assistant teaching professor at the University of Southern Mississippi. Dr. Tontz has worked in higher education for over 20 years as an academic advisor, coach, and counselor. He previously was the Director of Veteran Services and is a former Navy Reserve METOC officer, specifically aiming to serve veterans and military-connected students. He holds a B.A. in Biology from the University of San Diego, a M.Ed. in College Student Affairs from the University of South Florida, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Denver.
