The Graduate School hosts new student orientations on the Hattiesburg campus and at Gulf Coast locations at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. We highly recommend that all new graduate school students attend. All graduate students with graduate assistantships are required to attend. More >

Three-Minute Thesis® Competition

Nov. 1-3, 2017 | 2-5 p.m. | Trent Lott Center, Rooms A-D

The Three-Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a communication skills development competition, which challenges graduate students to explain the significance of their research projects to a general audience in three minutes. It provides a great opportunity for you to develop communication skills and showcase your research, as well as open doors to new collaborations and networks, all while competing for cash awards.
