Dept. of Collaborative Nursing Care Introduction
Welcome to the Department of Collaborative Nursing Care located in the College of Nursing at University of Southern Mississippi. This is an exciting time to become a nurse or transition to further education in nursing. The Department of Collaborative Nursing Care is dedicated to breaking new ground and transforming health care through various programs:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program – prepares the graduate for entry-level positions in a variety of health care services. The BSN program provides the foundation for graduate study in nursing.
RN-BSN Program – is an online program to prepare the RN to advance as a competent health care provider as well as a professional leader, manager, coordinator, research, critical thinker, and political activist.
Concurrent Academic Progression In Nursing Pathway (CAPINP) – provides students enrolled in Associate Degree Nursing programs in the state of Mississippi with an option for early enrollment in the current Southern Miss BSN completion program.
