Applications Completed through SOAR

All forms below must be downloaded, completed, and submitted to the Office of Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs with all necessary signatures. Forms submitted without the necessary signatures will not be processed.

Study Abroad

A separate Financial Aid Application for Study Abroad is not required as we receive lists of participants from the Office of International Programs.  However, we do encourage you to complete the Summer Financial Aid Application on SOAR.  Please confirm with the Office of Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs we have confirmation of your participation.

Financial Aid Appeal Forms

An appeal and supporting documentation needs to be filed by the appeal processing priority deadline which is 7 business days prior to the semester's add/drop date.  The priority deadline is established to ensure the appeal committee can process the appeal in time for the student to withdraw from classes without financial penalty if the appeal is denied.  If the appeal is submitted after the priority deadline or the appeal is denied and the student does not drop by the add/drop date, the student will be responsible for the semester charges.
Verification of Non-filing Status from the IRS

 

Special Note:  Please make sure all required signatures are on all documents given to our office.  We are unable to process your applications if signatures are missing.  All documents and forms can be faxed to the Southern Office of Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs at 228.214.5415.
