Heather Annulis, Ph.D.

 

Heather Annulis, Ph.D., CPLP, is a tenured, professor and Director of the Master of Science in Human Capital Development online and executive format programs. She also serves as Director of the Training and Development Certificate Program. In 2003, NASA honored Dr. Annulis with the Public Service Group Achievement Award for her work on the National Workforce Development Education and Training Initiative team. In 2002 and 2006, the Southern Growth Policies Board recognized Annulis at the Southern Governor's Association Conference as an Innovator in Workforce Development. She was named one of Mississippi's 2006 Top 40 Under 40 by the Mississippi Business Journal. She was named as a 2007 Distinguished Professor of e-Learning for the Southern Miss Gulf Coast. Heather's research interests include developing and implementing competency models, determining return of investment of performance improvement programs, and creating change readiness in organizations. She has presented at regional, national and international conferences on these subjects.

Carita Ducre

Carita Ducre, Carita is a Managing Partner and Senior Consultant at Insight Strategies, Inc. Carita's areas of expertise include: mid-manager and executive-level coacing, leadership devlopment, workplace communication, business ethics, business writing, delegation, customer service, organizational and departmental assessments, and 360-degree feedback assessments. As a former small business owner, Carita understands the difference between working "at" a business and working "on" a business and is able to combine theory, expertise and real world business practices into her engagements.

Her dynamic presentations and customized training sessions are energetic and interactive, providing tools that can be applied immediately to both impact the individual and the workplace.

Carita holds a BA in English from the University of Notre Dame and an e-Learning Instructional Design certificate from the Association of Talent Development (ATD).

 

 Cyndi Gaudet, Ph.D.

 

Cyndi Gaudet, Ph.D., Chair and Professor, directs the Department of Human Capital Development at The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast. As Director of the Jack and Patti Phillips Workplace Learning and Performance Institute (WLPI), Cyndi managed more than $5M in projects in the last decade integrating Phillips ROI Methodology as the accountability framework for each project. Her cutting-edge competency model research received awards from NASA, the Southern Growth Policies Board, and the American Society for Training and Development, New Orleans. One of the high-growth, high technology research initiatives under Dr. Gaudet's direction was identified as a top five finalist for the U.S. Department of Labor's 2005 Recognition of Excellence Award, Educating America's 21st Century Workforce. She has presented professional papers at over 100 regional, national, and international conferences, and her research has been published in journals such as the Performance Improvement Journal, HRD Quarterly, International Journal of Instructional Media, NABTE Review, URISA Journal, the Delta Pi Epsilon Journal, and the Performance Improvement Quarterly. As a scholar-practitioner, Cyndi is recognized as a regional and national expert in helping public and private sector organizations implement a systematic approach for developing human capital. She holds a B.S. and M.Ed. from Southern Miss and a Ph.D. in Human Resource Education and Workforce Development from Louisiana State University.

Paul Hasney

Paul Hasney, is the leader of Imagine Consulting LLC; a consulting firm designed to help today’s organizations meet the ever-changing needs of their employees and the marketplace. He has thirty (30) years of experience in the Training and Development field, fifteen (15) in the banking industry. His training experiences include Leadership, Management Development, Sales, Customer Service, Diversity, as well as the development and implementation of cultural change initiatives. He is certified by the Franklin Covey Company to teach The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Leadership Foundations and Leading at the Speed of Trust. Besides his training expertise, Paul also has over fourteen (14) years of management experience. He holds a BS degree in Education from the University of New Orleans.

As a consultant, Paul has focused his energy in the areas of training design and delivery, strategic planning and the people side of organizational change.

She develops and presents training programs about Self-Understanding, Motivation, Leadership, Personal Effectiveness and Train-the-Trainer programs to subject matter experts. She teaches several competencies in the Training and Development Certificate Programs and has a knack for creating a fun and innovative learning environment.

Amanda Martin-Sanchez

Amanda Martin-Sanchez, MEd, BSN, RN, CNOR, is a writer and editor of continuing medical and nursing education programs at LAMMICO. She has described herself as a nurse by profession and an adult educator by choice. She earned a Master of Education from the University of Southern Mississippi with a focus on Adult Education. Amanda also completed additional post-graduate work in curriculum and instruction at the University of New Orleans. Amanda graduated from Louisiana State University Medical Center School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In her nursing career, she continued to hone her education skills as a perioperative nurse and the educator in the operating room of a large teaching hospital in the New Orleans area. She is an active member of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses, has served as an officer of her local chapter for many years, and is a certified perioperative nurse. Amanda is also a member of the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions.

Janea McDonald

 

Janea McDonald, Ph.D., PHR is currently the owner of Edge Consulting, LLC, a human capital development consulting company. Janea has over 20 years of human resource related experience. She is a certified HR professional (PHR and SHRM-CP) through the Human Resources Certification Institute and Society for Human Resource Management, respectively, as well as a certified training professional through the Jack and Patti Phillips Workplace Learning and Performance Institute at The University of Southern Mississippi. Janea received her PhD in Human Capital Development and Master’s in Workforce Training and Development from Southern Miss.  In addition to owning her own business, Janea serves as an adjunct instructor at the University of South Alabama and the University of Mississippi.
