About this Bachelor's Degree

The applied technology program curriculum is designed to emphasize the practical application of business management and examine the theories of human resource development, production process planning and technological innovations critical for success in public and private industries.

We accept up to 36 hours of technical electives from a junior or community college to apply toward obtaining a bachelor’s degree. The applied technology major is especially attractive to professionals with a technical/occupational two-year degree and technical work experience.

Learning Outcomes/Objectives

  • Students will demonstrate an ability to combine all components of applied technology theory and practices within the workplace.
  • Students will be able to recognize, analyze and present to others information about the significance of Applied Technology as it relates to total organization.
  • Students will develop proficiency in the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and oral communication.
  • Students will experience professional advancement in their fields.
  • Students will develop proficiency in the terminology, theories and practices of each area of Applied Technology.
