Undergraduate Degree Programs

Geography is the study of earth and its people. Typically, Geography is divided into physical geography or human geography. Physical Geography is the study of how the earth works from weather to volcanoes to biomes to tectonics. Human geography looks at how humans get along or don't get along with each other and how parts of the world can be distinguished by human activity from government to religion to economics to social constructs. We borrow from multiple disciplines to answer questions with spatial components. Geography is not just maps and memorizing states and capitals: geography teaches an interdisciplinary worldview and perspective.
